This is Margie’s ex neighbor Norma Bernardy( we have the Westie-Lola) Margie forwarded your blog to me and I am so excited to read and see your pictures. Ron and I did an Italy trip in 2005 and it was a fabulous trip. We were in Milan, Venice, Florence, Modena, Cinque Terra, Piza, Lucca, Perugia, Assissi, Sorrento, Pompeii, Rome. Forgot, Verona, Orvieto ( toured the Tenuta Le Velette vineyard there) Cortona. We had quite a trip and I am living it all over again through your pictures. I am forwarding your blog to my sister Sharron who is a world traveler.

How exciting! And thank you for reading the blog! I have so much I want to share, but our internet connection makes it hard. Just returned from three days and nights in Rome. Two more days back in Cortona then on to Germany!
Internet is always a problem.
Our only problem in Italy was the pick pockets. We were on a bus in Rome and there were two ladies (working together) and they had Ron’s fanny pack unzipped and ready to take what they could, but I noticed it right away. Have you had any problems in the past?
Loved Rome and all it’s history!
Wish we could have spent more time in Germany, but we were on a Rhine River cruise so only stopped briefly. If you ever get a chance do the Rhine River Christmas cruise, it was fabulous. The boat only takes about 150 people so you get alot of attention.
