While driving around St. Andrews we were hungry and discovered this great little farm that has multiple purposes. It is called Balgove Larder, is a working farm, cafe, Steak Barn Restaurant, butchery (all of their meat is free range and local) farm shop and flower shed. The farm is dedicated to promoting all locally sourced items and showcasing all that Scotland has to offer in the way of culinary items. During the evenings they even have a “Night Market” where they have local vendor booths serving food and live music. The food was really good, the items in the store were original and very high quality and I couldn’t get over how beautiful the flowers were.

Simply great photos. I am so envious. Are you bringing back a kilt of your clan tartan?
Thank you!! HaHa, no I don’t think the Scottish would allow an Englishman to have a tartan!
You might be surprised. When I was there I saw Japanese being fitted for kilts matched to the clan that sounded most like their last names :).
