I love Winged Victory. Is the tufted bed and pillow holding the nude also carved stone?
Jean, the statue and bed are both made of marble. It is “Sleeping Hermaphrodite”. The bed was added in 1620 by Italian artist Bernini, the life size model is Ancient Greek. It is so beautiful, it actually gleams.
